aps coding & marking technologyapsolute marking systems are based on thermal inkjet technology. They use thermal inkjet print cartridges, which for the first time allow printing with fast-drying inks. Therefore, the application area of this technology could be considerably enlarged: apsolute marking systems permit printing on porous and non-porous substrates, directly onto your product or its primary and secondary packaging. Through their print cartridge concept the apsolute printers don't use any moving part in the system and work without any wear. This is beside the high-quality hardware and electronics reason for the reliability of the apsolute marking systems. There's no need for remedial repair and maintenance. Unpredictable breakdowns and associated production downtime definitely belong to the past. apsolute marking systems require no other fluid than ink. This means sustainable cost savings for users who in the past had to bear high running cost for additional consumables such as make-up, cleaners, spares and wear parts, repairs and maintenance. Also the multi-printhead concept offers sustainable savings. The apsolute marking systems can control up to four printheads, each of them printing independently up to 12.7 mm of text – an excellent solution if you have to fulfill different marking requirements at the same production site or have to print on different sides of a product. apsolute makes you save costs for up to three additional coding systems! The apsolute product range is completed by the STC11, a compact printer specifically designed to code outer cases and other porous materials.
